Éischte Weltrich

A website to remember the Great War in Luxembourg
Year
2017 - 2018

Éischte Weltkrich: Remembering the Great War in Luxembourg is a digital exhibition developed by the C2DH, University of Luxembourg, addressing a significant yet understudied period in the country’s history.

Drawing on the collections and expertise of major Luxembourg museums, archives, and cultural institutions, the project brings together a wide range of materials to explore the social, political, and cultural dimensions of the First World War in Luxembourg. Conceived as a long-term resource, the platform has progressively expanded in scope and content.
