About us

Calibro is a design studio founded by Matteo Azzi and Giorgio Uboldi. We develop tailored visual tools and methods to support the exploration, understanding, and communication of data, archives, and information. Our work ranges from data visualization and editorial design to digital platforms and exhibition projects, often in close collaboration with researchers, cultural institutions, and organizations.

Alongside commissioned projects, we carry out independent research and teaching, contributing to the academic field through collaborations with institutions such as Design Academy Eindhoven, UNIRSM Design, ISIA Urbino, Cfp Bauer, and Scuola Politecnica di Design. This dual approach—practice and research—allows us to combine design expertise with critical inquiry, shaping custom solutions that adapt to the needs of each context.
